What a f*cking coward. Acting like a little girl. Cannot handle tough questions and awkward situations, yes wants to be prime minister. f*cking joke. [Tweet Link] Newsflash, Laime Eagle. He will take part in 16 hustings of the electorate that have the final say on who will be leader of the party. He's under no obligation to prostate himself on TV to a frankly hostile broadcaster and very likely partisan activist audience. He can do that when he goes to the people in a General Election. This is not a General Election. Can't help all the "right people" have the knives out for Boris, both on here and in the press. There will be a huge amount of scrutiny and muck-raking (note the same level of scrutiny applied to Hunt? Me neither). You all all terrified. Good. Not particularly a Boris fan, but the alternative is much worse.

Which is why the need to call a Vote Of No Confidence as soon as Boris takes power.... and also why they are wrangling over the start date of summer recess. Summer + Conference recess takes us to early October (shocking, seriously, that the house does not operate for that huge stretch of time) VONC = 2 weeks So if there is a VONC in early October, Boris would do well (in my opinion) to lose it, trigger a GE and have us leave while parliament is dissolved. If the Remainers want to play dirty devious tricks to trample over constitutional norm and break their manifesto contract with the electorate, then I have few qualms about "my side" now getting their hands dirty. Who am I kidding anyway, Hunt will be PM - the house never loses after all.

Boris Johnson refused 26 times to answer a question about when the picture of him with girlfriend Carrie Symonds was taken: He'll be challenged upon far more pressing issues than this where he'll be required to give straight answers.

Let alone be able to call a GE, which is what I have been saying for some time - it would be quite possible to get a no deal exit by default.

As long as we end up with a leader who's taking us in a frigging direction.....instead of this constant fence sitting. I don't want to be taking the leave/remain question into the new year. If there are to be no 'dirty tricks'....which I'm not sure would be that easy..... or a GE then I don't see how that happens with this set of MPs. Edited by Stirlingsays (25 Jun 2019 12.00pm)

I think(!) this is what I mean as well Becky... there's perhaps some more clarity here (see the tweet itself for the full thread): [Tweet Link]

As for the Boris, 'row through the wall' nonsense......it's just another view of the gutter that the mainstream media class sit in. Surely the debate should be on policy.
