Let’s not forget that he could have already have 3 goals had he not messed up the one-on-one vs Pickford!

He has been brilliant so far, I was a massive critic of his and wasn’t happy when we signed him but I’m very pleased to say that he’s proven me wrong

I think he was. The problem with Ayew is that he gives so much, not sure he can last 90 minutes (this is not a criticism) Think it was pretty clear that it was due to the number of crosses into the box we were having (for once) to no avail, likewise corners. I'd have taken off Jimmy for Tekkers though.Ayew looks a great player atm, long may it continue!

He has already became probably our most important player, our only centre forward worth having, wrap him in cotton wool.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Championship pure and simple, obvious from day 1 . Runs around to a fair degree but doesn’t read any aspect of the game and has no natural abilities. Absolute blessing we did not get the purchase over the line. Hmmm!
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

My one concern in his upturn in performance is that when opposition CB’s sharpen up he won’t have the edge on them he has now, but for me he is very quick over certain distances and when CB’s get twisted up he stays in a good position with his smaller frame, plus he looks stronger in tussles than he was last season. If he starts being there and reading the many low drives across the goalmouth then he could be licking his lips at the chances he may end up getting as well as the type of goals he’s scored recently beating the high line of defence, which is again something opposition will be on the lookout for. If we have different methods of attack then we and hopefully Ayew will be okay. It’s the predictable play and everything through Zaha and beating the same man or 2 at least twice with little after it that’s been our problem.
