Who on here would join a (for want of better word) 'singing section' if there was one we could all join. I was in one of the three 'singing' blocks at wembley and was a great part of the day

Not yet and I doubt it will. He didn't even mention anything in his programme notes on Sunday which I was a little surprised about. Thats pretty dissapointing tbh. If the report was correct - that means he's aware of the upset fans - the least he can do is talk to them.

I will try to copy the link to the minutes below. Hope it works! Attachment: FB_IMG_1540994107218.jpg (97.27Kb)

I hope Palace have done their due diligence on this. All the media traffic has put a spotlight on what was once 'got away' with. Any form of incident which could be deemed as created by the club would see the lower Holmesdale possibly closed at least short term whilst the lawyers circled. I have no idea how they could police the proposed E section as seated singing without major confrontations and crowd control issues.
If someone is killed as a result of people standing by a surge etc. The club and its directors will face charges of corporate manslaughter. If someone is injured by such an incident then charges against both the club and persons deemed to be in control could be brought under other legislation probably using a connivance and neglect argument. In addition the Licensing Authority can close ground or part of it and also Civil action for damages from individuals.

I don't agree - the internal politics of the HF move has not really been discussed much outside of palace. The games this season are probably picked based on last season. hence the reason we're up against teams that were high scoring matches or so called upsets.

Thanks for posting . -and equally importantly, meaningful compensation offers and resolution efforts for those fans directly affected. We should all now unite behind the proposal, the team, the board and the club which surely will be positively welcomed.

Sorry, I meant that they hadn't met all of us in the "open day" that's said to be planned for November. Thanks so much for posting the minutes of the first meeting. I am a Block E season ticket holder and hadn't seen any of that info prior to you posting it. Although I'm still massively disappointed it has helped to allay some of my fears about finding a seat for next season.

It's shameful that you should have any fears about finding a seat for next season.

And page 2 Thanks Lumsdero. Overall i think that was a positive meeting. Still not convinced the Club are doing enough to compensate those affected, but it seems they are doing their best to move them with as little disruption as possible.

It's shameful that you should have any fears about finding a seat for next season. Listening and speaking to fellow supporters this is a viewpoint that appears to be gaining traction. At the game last weekend I overheard a supporter in a lather use the words "As bad as a Mugabe land grab". There was a great deal of support and sympathy for those who will have to watch their beloved team from elsewhere having been loyal season-ticket holders for many, many years.
