We got 3 points at Fulham today in a very tough game, with excellent backing from all the Palace fans.
And I couldn't give two hoots about the so called "fanatics".It was they who turned so viciously against the team when we were trounced by Sunderland at home last season.
I wouldn't miss them.

They f***ing deserved every bit of that

Looking forward to hearing the amazing atmosphere we've been promised on Monday night. Hope all the HF bashers (and f*** me theres a lot of them in this miserable thread) are ready to step up

I'm pretty certain that a lot of the HF were at Fulham yesterday judging by the songs that were started in one particular area 'when I was a young boy' etc. Let's hope that they turn up and continue where they left off even if they are not dressed in black.

Yes, a good number came to Fulham and it was disappointing hearing from their side how shambolic the club handled the whole Block B situation.

Hopefully both sides will move on/burry the hatchets sooner...

I'll be making plenty of noise. Only problem is I'll be 400 miles away.

Apologies if it's buried in the last 41 pages but have the HF made clear their view on what happened?

If they simply asked the club to kick everyone out of their seats behind the goal I'm not surprised the club said no. I don't feel the HF would be as unreasonable as to assume they would be guaranteed the seats they wanted at others expense and so assume there is more to it than that.

Can anyone shed some light?

Without the HF we'd be singing the same s***e recycled chants that the rest of the teams in England sing, but luckily for us they came up with original chants to new tunes which has lifted our atmosphere tremendously and is one of the things that has set us apart from others to the point where other teams fans in England have adopted their own chants from us (We Love You, Seven Nation etc) so to say these new chants aren't known or liked is strange especially considering a number of them are continued to be chanted at away games without the HF.

The fact of the matter is that the HF are the only set of fans within the stadium that sing regardless of what's happening on the pitch, whereas others simply cannot be bothered which I suppose is down to the modern culture of English fans now to only really bother when your side is winning or playing well and is why atmospheres in English top leagues are ridiculed for being so poor. Luckily for us the HF broke that English fan stereotype and were the main reason why our atmosphere over the past few years has caught people's attention because it's been a breath of fresh air within English football and is what was desperately needed to rescue us from the flat atmosphere's that have plagued pretty much every team within the country.

So I must say I think you're rather naive if you believe we'll still retain that magical atmosphere without them, and when we start losing games at home you'll see just how bad it is without them.

The HF displays were legendary. and they generated some new songs.
However, I also recall amazing atmospheres in our promotion season in 03-04. Also the 1-1 draw with the gooners in the prem at Selhurst the next season.
the first game of last season, the HF display before KO was another fine effort. However, when Huddersfield started scoring, all our fans went silent, including the HF.
so, i'll be sad to see them gone, but we've had great atmosphere's without them, and I'm sure life will go on

I disengage, I turn the page.

That's the spirit!! FFS yes they were poor but to try to attack DD or any other player for that matter was totally inexcusable and in my 57 years of going to SP have never seen anything like it (anyone remember losing 4-1 at home to Notts County first game of season having just been relegated?) no player was threatened. I hope I never see it again.
In answer to your last point...yes I will step up as I always have done

It's irrelevant what season it was,the fact is they behaved like a bunch of snowflakes, and the abuse they gave the team they claim to support was disgusting.
You silly little boy.

I think the HF did a great job. I really enjoyed their displays and I enjoyed their singing and drumming.

I don't know the details of what they wanted for tickets. And I can understand that the club didn't want to displace season ticket holders.

I don't blame either side, I just think it's too bad that some sort of agreement couldn't be reached.

Selhurst is a better place when the HF are in full form.

I have really appreciated HF although not unreservedly, I do however wonder will they really disappear, surely as Palace fans they will still be in the Holmesdale albeit not as an organised group. We will miss the magnificent displays so hope some kind of arrangement can be found it sounds from the little we know that there is a stand off going on so the story maybe far from over. Meanwhile the challenge will be to keep going if things go a bit wrong, having the HF usually got us through those patches. Let's see how we do on Monday.

How can 100 or so season ticket holders manage to change their seats to other parts of the holmesdale, and for what point.
