I am still keeping my feet firmly on the ground, will only believe it when I see it etc etc etc. BUT. IF (and that's the biggest if I can do on here) he were to come, his age pales into insignificance compared to the impact a player of his stature and experience would have on a club like Palace, its squad of youngsters and its academy. I'm reminded of Gullit, when he came to Chelsea. Everyone said he was past it then, but he put them on the map.
...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread... |
