If Brexit was a good idea, the Brexiters would not be concerned about a parliamentary vote about it. They also campaigned for our government to take back sovereignty... Well, here you go. They all knew the referendum was advisory. In other news today, an independent economic advisory board has told the German government (and pretty much by extension the EU) to do anything they can to keep Britain in the Union. It would be remiss of Parliament to accept the Article 50 trigger if it were argued successfully in The Commons that to do so could be of great harm to the country, in that we are very ill-prepared to go it alone.
