Remarkably, Ukraine is 'building back better'. Ukraine built more onshore wind turbines in past year than England. Ukraine’s Tyligulska wind power plant, the first to be built in a conflict zone, has begun generating enough clean electricity to power about 200,000 homes just 60 miles from the frontline in the southern region of Mykolaiv, with 19 turbines providing an installed capacity of 114MW. Well that is quite amazing.

Well that is quite amazing. It probably helps that the nasty tories have likely paid for it.

The Gulag Rats. Apparently around half Wagner's deaths were convicts. At least Prigozhin seems to be relatively honest.

Relative to everybody else in this war it seems. However, just out of interest, what lies has Putin been saying? Perhaps you know of something I don't.

In fact, a failed counter offensive probably results in Russia going on their own. Frigging nightmare that needs serious negotiation, but unfortunately it's not going to happen until hands are forced. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 May 2023 6.00pm)

Sounds interesting. As all this affects us pretty seriously I follow this war every day. Unfortunately the number of good faith commentators on it is very limited. However, one thing that can never be hidden is who owns what on the battlefield...who is taking ground and who is losing it...direction of travel.....I follow what the nitty gritty is on that front. Everything else is subjective opinion....you learn who the more objective ones are but pure objectivity is rare. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 May 2023 5.59pm)
