Which is a tougher deal than Southampton.

Could be, but our goals should be similar and that is where the concern is, this is not a done deal and there would appear to be some mileage to go yet and therefore could still fall over!

I doubt that he's brother all but accepted that he was moving to the prem. remember how long the Benteke deal took. I'm sure he'll be our manager before the end of next week at the latest.

As long as he's in situ before pre season starts on 2nd of July. Really don't see the problem. It already been suggested, he wants to discover what's at his disposal before making signings.

I have to keep pinching myself that Palace have managed to get FDB to join us. His record at Ajax was incredible and the players he brought through the squad are equally impressive. I think the spell at Inter was never destined to work. In a way I hope the first season is mid table as we need a manager who will stay and if he does too well he will be poached just like Koemen. I am also very excited to hear the new song on this thread. For those who have not got the time to find it amongst the 400 odd pages, it goes something like this: Frank De Boer's from Holland Absolute genius!!

Southampton have their manager, Parish and FDB still 'working on the contract'??? Yeh, that's right, Parish, twist the f@cking screws again, and be totally oblivious of any fact that behind FDB's smiling face that you're already p1ssing him off, and be totally oblivious of any other club being in his ear about a job, and it will ALL COME AS A HUGE SHOCK to all...and it won't be YOUR fault, as your worshipers on here will no doubt make clear.
