It seems to me that "unofficial" remarks are much more indicative of his true attitude than something scripted, edited and read off a teleprompter. It isn't too hard to tell when Trump is in Twitter mode and giving us his own thoughts and when he has been reined in by his officials. This seems Twitter mode to me.

Your right, it is indicative of his real attitude. Trump definitely is deliberately polarizing as a successful media technique but he's also polarising in how he runs...much of everything. Bob Woodward's book 'Fear' was very informative. There's a lot of Bannon in that book and he seems to understand Trump very well......The Trump presidency is fascinating.....It's literally true what they say about the 'deep state'.....but it's just not a conspiracy, it's right out there in the open.

Trump doesn't need any bias against him does he? He condemns himself on a daily basis. Just look at what he Tweeted yesterday:- "A massive 200 Billion Dollar Sea Wall, built around New York to protect it from rare storms, is a costly, foolish & environmentally unfriendly idea that, when needed, probably won’t work anyway. It will also look terrible. Sorry, you’ll just have to get your mops & buckets ready!" It seems he likes walls that won't work but condemns those that will, partly because it won't look nice.

You’re right. He should just go ahead and build it.

I suspect it's not intended to protect against hurricanes, which are rare that far north, but against the anticipated impact of rising sea levels caused by global warming. Like everything to do with climate change the time to prepare and plan is now. Making excuses, and looking after yourself and your re-election prospects, at the cost of the future generations, is the mark of an immoral leader. Sad!

People who make claims on morality need to have some first. Trump has taken millions off of food stamps and put them into work that the Democrats hadn't.

Obama Bush who believed in this hoax! Global warming supposedly been happening for years if you're a believer! Wasnt London supposed to be flooded by now? So are Obama and Bush immoral?

Global warming doesn't manifest it's outcomes in a few years. It takes decades. We can though see some impacts already that logically seem to be the consequences.

After Trump's performance today at the forum in Davos is anyone still NOT biased against him? When you add in his impeachment "defence", and what looks to me like a very strong case against him, I rather think there is a whole heap of bias in the minds of the Republican Senators who seemingly have already dismissed the case.

Oh man....this is so funny. You got to watch it, watch all of it, it just keeps giving. I think Joe Biden has just become my favourite Democratic candidate of all time! [Tweet Link]
