I’d be inclined to sound out Roy for a two-year contract extension.

His experience and wisdom are unrivalled. What is more, his enthusiasm is undimmed.

The young’ uns and newbies will get their chances, but we need to have 40 points on the board first.

And there’s always the F A Cup.

(Incidentally, good to hear his appreciation for the support of the fans. We all like to be appreciated.)

Two year extension - I know it’s the season of goodwill - but really..!!

I wouldn’t give him 2 days - let alone 2 years..!!

I’d lay off that eggnog if I where you..!!

That was a good game, it’s been a long time coming. I do think we should still switch managers in January though. If anything Roy kinda leaves on a good note now he’s got the win. Let’s not let the fact we finally produced a decent display let us forget our future. Roy is going end of season, fact. If we don’t move now whilst there are a few managers around that are the sort of calibre palace can get slip away. We may come end of season and have limited options if the likes of cooper, potter etc get employed by other clubs. Move now I believe

Putting 'eagle' in your username does not make you a Palace supporter.........

Today papered over the cracks. We should be beating the bees with their form.
Let’s see after Arsenal, sheff u, Brighton and Chelsea.
I would expect at least 4 points from those games.

Nothing from Arsenal (not unexpected), 3 from Sheffield and one draw (wouldn’t like to say which) from Brighton and Chelsea. I would say 4 points is probably about right.

I see Roy is ranting in the Daily Mail about lack of respect.
I also see he is playing down Olise's injury (and I hope he is right,) but why would Olise seem so down?
He is starting to lose it in my view.
Very concerned about his subbing or lack of it. If Olise is injured it will need to be looked at closely.
I hope Parish is on top of things.

After the performance today, it might make it a bit easier to attract a new manager sooner rather wait for later if that was an option being considered.

He's gone come July. We know that coz that's when his contract ends. We've either got 18 matches of the dross RH thinks is acceptable or make a change. Personally I want the Dinosaur gone.

As simple as it sounds - Roy is out of touch.’ He isn’t programmed into using 4 or 5 subs and it is modern thinking/modern football.

We are constantly on the back foot after 70minutes because other teams make subs and it is actually a problem everyone complains about regarding Roy other seasons, however the newer rule of using 5 subs has highlighted we are constantly under pressure due to teams having fresh legs coupled with tactical changes (in some cases) and we are under pressure due to Roy not moving with the times related to managerial nuances.

Leaving your first 11 on for the duration of the game or for 80+ minutes is outdated - similar to playing 4-4-2.
