Nice that you can find so much enjoyment in this invasion.

And the Russian causalities too. Absolutely pointless waste of life at the behest of greedy cowards.

edit: apparently filmed near an airfield, so I guess if they'd been taken out it's just 'collateral damage' and back to cheering?

Sounds like they've per-emptively arrested lots of people, and many others right now (several hundred so far) for peacefully daring to hold a fair minded view (oh such freedom..). But still some are willing to let their feelings be known. Good for them.

Not unlike the 'Insulate Britain' protesters, who were eventually dealt with by the law.
...and at 7pm, it will be 10 minutes of Hate, where a photo of Putin will be shown and we can all boo and deride it.

Certainly, there's an argument on what protect can achieve, and also more and more encroachments and restrictions here and abroad on even being able to do so anyway.

Something tells me that the initial invasion may appear to be far more 'mission accomplished' than it really is. Good luck coping with guerilla warfare for the foreseeable. Combined with tough sanctions, the jury is still out on Putin's move. What can be said though is that the perception of him is well deserved. Hopefully some of those around him at similarly minded.

A lot of information on the TV channels and other meeja outlets.
A lot of it is unverifiable photos and footage of events. I find the commentaries to the coverage almost 'hysterical' in their attempts to whip up public sympathy.
I'm not saying aggressive events aren't happening. Just there is currently a lot of speculative stuff out there, as with any wartime situation where information is confused in the early stages.

When i get really worried, I was thinking of a trip to Amsterdam. But obviously overseas travel to Europe will be riskier.
I might have to book a few sessions with local escorts to get my rocks off before Armageddon comes.

Problem with that is you are assuming that the Russians are going to occupy areas that have a majority population who don't want them there.

Same language, same religion, same cultural sensibilities. Russia is not going to occupy the whole of Ukraine. That would be utter madness. But taking effective control of the parts of it where the population probably see them as liberators? A different matter.

Time will no doubt tell. I can see this panning out in a number of ways, most of them bundled with plenty of misery for innocent citizens just trying to life a decent life.

A bit like all of Europe East of Berlin.
