Even the social side of Selhurst match days isn't enough to justify the boring football and lack of wins and goals at home. It has ground them down over the last few years and they've come to the conclusion that there are better ways for them to spend their time and money. It's a sorry state of affairs and not a decision they've taken lightly. Yeah someone else will probably fill their seats, but I'm sure they're not the only ones who are feeling like that. I was referring to someone that sits on their arse watching games on tv from abroad. Or did until that minimal effort became too much for them. I do understand people's apathy due to the shortage of exciting football. I can't make a case for Hodgson's brand of football being exciting. Personally, I can think of events down the years that have been far worse that had me questioning my support for the club. And there is every chance that major changes are on the horizon, so my advice would be to wait and see before making a decision on renewing tickets.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Sooty to have changed the lock slightly! I know Dolphin I would like to see more attacking football and that comes from the stadiums being packed again because players react to a crowd. Many have said “ that it has been dire for 2 years now” and more often than not that has been the case, but coincidentally or not is that we haven’t invested anywhere nearly enough in the team and the players we have are all injury prone. We have a team that is old and injury prone = inconsistent poor standard of football.

Misguided and short sighted. We are on the point of substantial change with Roy keeping us in a safe holding pattern until the new manager comes with a hatful of player changes and the academy starts feeding the 1st team in a few years. So what if it's dull. No-one is paying to watch. People need more vision and a damn site more patience.

With Howe going to Celtic, I'd bet good money that it's now a case of we will try to prize Dyche away from Burnley and if we can't Roy will be given another 1 year contract and we will go through all if this again next season.

Eaglecoops I bet you like me will be watching on Monday night to see if we can turn over Everton. Let’s be honest here that was a ridiculous penalty decision at Selhurst Park that cost us that game. I have the Sky subscription and Amazon, but decided not on the BT one as it’s getting beyond a joke.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I'll admit I have decided to withold my money with regard to going to live football until I see what direction the club is going in for reasons stated numerous times on here. However I remain a Palace fan and as much as I detest the football we currently play I am rather addicted to following my team, as are most of us. So yes, I will indeed be watching, however I refused to pay the full wack to all and sundry for the privilege of watching sport a couple of years ago and I now use my streaming box that I acquired in Tenerife which gets me any sports channel in the world (just about) for the total monthly price of an Amazon subscription. Toffees are a good team and I remember being blown away by how good Gomes is and I see he may be fit. I expect nothing from this but just when you think we don't have a chance, we scramble a result. Let's hope tomorrow is no different.
