I’m sure there was a time when you didn’t know the words to ‘When I was a young boy’, ‘We love you’, ‘Here’s to you, famous red n blue’. The reality is that they try new chants instead of copying the other crap every other team sing, they’ll persist for a few games and if it doesn’t catch on they’ll eventually give up on it. There’s been few songs, which in my opinion, were great but never caught on so they don’t sing them anymore. I would hope that will soon be the case with the 'Luka he's from Serbia, he'll f******* murder yer' one.

Honest to god, i wouldn't be surprised if cpfc colluded with other fans to allow them the opportunity to take it forward int heir moderated way... All i would day from fulham... i felt the HF were there anyways... so, let's just hope the HF get back to being fans and what will be will be. you are correct, it only takes 8-15 fans to get a chant going it takes 10 times that to keep it going for more than 30 seconds people will moan the HF are repetative & the drum annoys them...but its that that makes the atmosphere so special. fans at every single PL ground get chants going, its keeping it going for 90minutes which is the skill. I hope that if they are reading this forum that they dont think everyone disliked them. the forum is only represented by those willing to post on it. I think the silent majority would want to continue seeing them as its the one thing that any guests commented on when they visited selhurst, not the run down facilities in the arthur but how brilliant the holmesdale was. Also we are all fans of the palace. I beleive you dont have any greater fan rating no matter if you want/are the HF or not, wether youve been going 40 years or not. HF were part of our persona at the ground whether you liked it or not and I will look back with fondness of those times. COYP

Again I ask the question ! Why didn’t they (HF) wait until ground improvements to get there move ? S P could possibly had more chance of accommodating them .

For all the people claiming that all the HF’s songs were new... it’s just not true sadly. They’ve admitted themselves that they co-opted several songs from European teams. Certainly, We love you, was originally sang by Young Boys of Berne. The ones that didn’t survive like the Heaven is a place on Earth generally were HF originals. I’m actually neither for or against the HF btw. For 13 years they did a great job and i’m genuinely worried that the atmosphere will take a huge dip now but the HF are the ones who decided to act like petulant children so *shrugs* Anyway, just wanted to correct a mistake.

I'm a 39 year old fella that has watched palace from block C and the right side of the Holmesdale when it was standing for over 30 years. I go with my old man who's 70 now and we both love the HF. They support with all their heart and souls at games that's all you can ask. Some songs are good, some aren't. I've never seen them be rude to anyone, always polite if you contribute to their collections and on away days no more aggro than any other lad in their 20s in a big group. I hope they stick at at as definitely have improved atmosphere in the Homesdale. That said Fulham Saturday was one of the best away atmospheres in the last 12 month's and if they weren't there then shows well be fine. Definitely some older chants got an airing like eagles and more anti- Brighton stuff which as a fan from the 80s I personally like. However all the news songs were out and we do I love you better than any team in England still. If they've f***ed off to follow Millwall then good luck to them. If they haven't then good news as I want them to stay. Whatever happens well be fine and evolve in the stands like always with new singers and songs etc. TBF if Basaka and Wilf keep playing like that it can be silent in the crowd seeing that 2nd goal made 100 percent in South London was one of the highlights of our return to the big time a great moment in the club's history. Let's hope HF and other fans all there and Singing Monday against Klopps lot think we're gona need to be united if gona Nick anything against them boys...Eagles!

Our away support has always been loud. Home support without the HF would be no better than most other premier league teams.

They seem to have forgotten that they rely on people at the back of blocks A, B and C too keep the chants going. Now the corner of the Arthur and further a cross the Holmesdale join in too. The back of block B was the noisiest part of the ground before the HF arrived. They haven't really considered that they won't get the same reaction in blocks E and F. They are currently in the best place, that's why they chose to start up there. I noticed that most of last year they had a different leader than several years prior to that. Could there be some kind of internal issue?

The dismembered torso of the previous 'leader' will be found in a rusty oil drum on deserted wasteland near Peckham Rye station in six months time, with a card bearing a picture of a drum reading "don't f*ck with Block B" roughly inserted in his anus.
