Ultimately, the way Watford treat their coaches, if Silva was to go there rather than build something long term here then it says a lot about his motivation. Agreed I hope he is just using Watford as brinkmanship to get the best terms possible for when he signs for us. Will know soon enough. Odds are 4/1 so I've chucked some more money on him. Must still be in with a reasonable shout?

The bookies have got no idea what's going on. Silva is as big as 6/1 with Skybet but 10/11 elsewhere

I'll never get the anti-parish brigade. Some were utterly disgusting when Pulis left, yet we all know what that was about now don't we?! I'm delighted we have Parish and other wealthy fans on the board. Trust me, my Hull City supporting mates would give their left bollox to have what we have. I trust Parish will make a good decision. Silva feels like he'd be a good fit but I have a feeling (based on absolutely nothing, so no 'contact' info) that the board will go for Dyche.

I wouldn't be underwhelmed if it was Dyche when you look at his terrific record. The reality is that us English football fans are sometimes dismissive of homegrown coaches. The fact is anyone coached under him say he's terrific and quite frankly, what he's done at Burnley is pretty sensational!

(I hope not) but didn't he get Burnley promoted twice.

As I say I know Dyche is a good manager but I think going into our 5th season in the prem we should be setting our standard higher than Dyche. I wanted Mancini but i know it won't happen. Jokanavic at Fulham is sexy enough.

It's pretty obvious that's on course news manipulation to create the conditions to force Sean Dyche transfer instead of Marco Silva. At the bottom line some just are thinking in own profits that's it! Edited by Portuguese (26 May 2017 10.31pm)
