'Free Speech' is now considered an issue only valued by those on the Far-Right and as such an institution such as Speakers Corner is considered an aberration with no real role in the 21st Century UK. And even if he is caught, I am sure there is a lawyer who would make the case that by wearing the t-shirt the lady did, then essentially she bought the attack on herself. Might even be guilty of a crime herself. Many voices on the Left now argue for a return to a kind of blaspheme law and I suspect this lady would fall foul of it.

As pointed out earlier, Speakers Corner is colloquially known as Sharia Corner, it wasn't a joke. Some are free to speak, others are free to get stabbed. I would say it is what it is, but I don't find it acceptable in a, supposedly, Western Democracy.

NZ are to bring in new laws to make it easier to convict people planning terror attacks after the recent knife attacks by a daesh sympathiser. A left wing government knee Jerking or where it should be.
