I hate David Beckham! He hasn't had a vintage game for England for years. He's a c.rap captain too. We need a real leader like Terry Butcher who lost litres of his blood for England! I hate the way that now the media have turned on him he showing what a self centred smug arrogant sh!t he really is! I can just see it now, dressing room after the game: "No lads, don't go out the talking to that scum that have all made us super rich mega stars, and fuk the public that pay our wages, let's stay in here and sulk." "Oh and as your Captain I'll go out there and handle the press, actually, sod that I can't stand them as I have nothing new to show off, although my agent wants me to do a shoot tomorrow where I'll be in the public's faces everywhere endorsing some sh!te I would never use myself for a few million quid." He's also a great player, but not in the league of Zidane etc. His real main asset is free kicks. An utter tosser.

Shearer's temprament leaves a lot to be desired at times, as does most players' temprament, I couldn't hate Shearer - he's a great great player and the best English forward of the last 10 years. In full agreement with Glazed re: Beckham Edited by SpikeyMatt (10 Sep 2004 6:59pm)

Quite random people coming up: Robert Pires: I just feel he is cashing in on Arsenal's success without doing anything towards it, and deep down i feel that he hasnt got the quality of the other players Other people who think they're good but in actual fact are crap, ie Heskey Alan Smith: mainly based on his dive against us in the FA Cup a few years ago, although i respect now that he is actually quite good However I don't dislike players just because they play for or have played for one of our rivlas a la Zamora, that is in all honesty pathetic I'm sure I'll think of a few others... Shearer I hate as a person more than as a footballer (although as the years go by he has become even dirtier than he used to be). Its his behind the scenes manipulation and back-stabbing, his clear ambitions to become Newcastle manager and his general lack of support for Robson this year ("I want to start every game", indeed - he's a clever bloke and knew exactly how that would be taken.
