On reflection it's got to be 90-91. Not only did we play skilful direct attacking football, we also did really well points and results wise playing some teams off the park in the process. Beating Man Utd 3-0 in the last game of the season was sweet, as was beating Liverpool 1-0.

1990-91 was excellent. Great keeper, two solid centre halves, midfield and attack were superb. We didn't have much in the way of coverage bur luckily we didn't really need it. Salako's 2nd goal vs Man U last day of the season - excellent. We should've beat Arsenal at home if it wasn't for a dubious offside decision. QPR away was a particularly good laugh as was Southend 8-0.

Best year for me has to be the administration year. It was a climate that can never be replicated. EVERYONE at the club was together, we had a manager we adored and there was never more of a feeling that this was actually OUR CLUB. I'd choose this kind of feeling over instant success fuelled by investors money any day of the week.. Turbulent times, yet happy ones...

94/95 for me. premiership footie, fa cup semi, don't get much better
As Danny Butterfield wheeled away, arms aloft in celebration of his third goal – an expression of delight and astonishment on his face – a man seated beside me in the stands turned to his young son and told him that he would remember this moment for the rest of his life. I will too. |

96-97, after the ultimate disappointment of the season before (which I consider to be when I properly got into Palace) it was brilliant to see that goal go in at Wembley to cap a good late run (and I remember distinctly a couple of back to back 5-1/6-1 wins at Selhurst)
It's just a matter of crossing the i's and dotting the t's |

Predictably enough 90/91.3rd in the top flight, the bad part being 2nd placed Liverpool being reinstated on 08/04 into Euro competition 2 years early cos that Swedish tw*t Johansen.Pouring the beers in the Stag,Victoria,b4 it became a gay bar!-for the Palace hordes,Southall sulking,2-0 at Man City & Salako playing 1 of his best games ever as a wingback in a new formation-bizarrely the Citizens friendlyness from the previous season,Man U,soon evaporated!oh,& the 08/04 being exactly 1 year after we laughed at Hansen at Villa Park-hence the ironic bitterness!
