HT 0-1. I know it's only a friendly but I hope for a little more urgency and passion in the second half (but not enough to get any injuries). I assume there will be mass substitutions.

i would like to see Umeh give a run at LWB, Riad for Guehi, and Sarr given 30 mins.

Yes, if JPM isn't quite ready.
Edouard keeps coming back towards the ball whereas JPM is always looking to get into goalscoring positions in the area.
Other observations- Kamada looks neat on the ball but doesn't drive forward or whip crosses in.
We'll have to adjust the style a little from when Olise occupied the position and of course there's Sarr as another option.
We conceded another soft goal from a set piece and will need to get much tighter v Brentford who specialise in this aspect.

Agreed. Don't know bout you, I thought, Munoz is missing Olise as he doesn't have anyone overlapping him, he's having to come inside.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

1-1 Kamada. Neat move, easy finish. Cue the flurry of substitutions.

Why worry about TODAY when TOMORROW will be even worse.

Ayew or Edouard at CF against Brentford?

Refreshing commntary from Mark Bright - he tells it as it is. Nantes change their entire team. Game fizzling out.

This is now more of a game on the beach. Except that everyone is wearing shoes.

FT 1-1. I'm sure we learned a few things along the way.

Hopefully Mateta.

agreed - he had a good rest at the end of the season and the Olympics was an excellent - if admittedly very full on - pre season

He is in amazing form - play him!

An easy finish if you make an excellent run from midfield to end up in the centre of the goal six yards out

lovely flick from Eze to put Mitchell in position for his cross

nice goal
