I can assure you it's not "rubbish" so maybe keep opinions like that to yourself.

Don’t take anything Dr Death says seriously, he talks absolute nonsense but apparently is never wring. Keep up the fight and don’t ,et them get you down

Yep, to be fair to people most aren't aware of the scale of different autistic conditions. Most people will think of it as not that much of a big deal or manageable....or that it's a bit of a scam.

I understand, what people don't know they don't know and of course there's always a truth in stereotypes to some degree.

However, I fully believe you, I know what you are saying is true as I've seen and been around those children.

Autism covers a massive range of conditions and the severity of them.

It's true that many people will have autism to a level, that while it produces difficulties, they can still lead ordinary and productive lives. Many can operate in mainstream. High functioning autists are often extremely valuable people...Newton was probably one.

However on the opposite end, autism can mean that an ordinary life isn't possible. I've seen children with low cognitive ability who can't communicate socially or sometimes even speak or understand what's going on around them. The spectrum of autism is huge, from a genius to someone who can't operate within normal society without a lot of help.

It's tragic for the families at the severe end and a lifelong commitment just to keep them safe and provided for. It's no joke and those families are often under great strain.

Both my wife and daughter work in Special Education and my wife has published research in this area.

For some ASD is something that has some impacts but for others they simply cannot function in the day to day world even with help.

But it is a real thing and I do know the club has offered a quiet room etc to help.

CPISA will be meeting someone from the Football Supporters Association next week to discuss the problems of digital tickets. The FSA have already had a number of Palace fans contact them with their issues.

Sorry to hear that. I left my name, number and detailed the issue on a club number that was meant to help supporters and it's nearly a week and I still haven't heard back!!

I think we've just got to accept that we care about the club more than they care about us!!

I'd advise to take it higher. I got on touch with Sharon Lacey last year over my membership. I didn't hear back from her - but magically my problem was sorted. I think that was her name, just off the top of my head.

Brilliantly put, EE. As the 18th century poet, Alexander Pope, would have said about your post, "What oft was thought but ne'er so well expressed".

I don't know why, but this reminded me of my favourite 'Stupid Deaths' from 'Horrible Histories':

Grim reaper (as the next applicant approaches the Death Check-In): "NAME?"

Man: "Francis Bacon"

Reaper: (Sighs loudly) "YEAR OF DEATH?"

Francis Bacon: "1626"

Reaper: "PROFESSION?"

Francis Bacon: "Philosopher and academic"

Reaper (poised to write in the deaths register): "I'll just put 'work-shy layabout'"

Ive been in correspondence with CPFC customer service asking why they cant issue print-at-home tickets as an alternative to downloads onto smart phones. Other businesses (cinemas, rail operators, etc) offer the choice - why can't Palace?
Here's the reply I received:
As we move towards a fully digital ticketing system, we will no longer be offering print-at-home tickets. This decision is part of our commitment to going paperless, which aligns with our sustainability goals and enhances the overall efficiency and security of our ticketing process.

It's BS of course. Nothing to do with "sustainability," it's all about what is most convenient for them. CPFC likes to trumpet its commitment to "inclusivity" - except when it comes to older people who have been supporting the club for 50 or 60 years. They can get with the programme or just suck it up.

Of course it's a load of rubbish. Do they not trust us to recycle if we print out E-tickets at hnme?!
And they said the alternative is them printing us a ticket at ground so still using paper!!

Every season they are just upsetting more and more fans and gonna get much worse next season when they stop all those granted a card this year from having one!!
