We'd need to ensure his legs still work and that being the case I'd have him back even if it's as an off the bench impact player. Wages also need to be modest.

It's also a no from me. We've moved on and so did he.

Provided a deal could be worked that had very little financial impact upon us (beyond paying him reasonable wages) and perhaps his acceptance that he won't be first name on the team sheet/our singular star man, I'd be delighted.

Probably more sentimental than anything but he's only 31, and he's still our Wilf. That's just my personal stance.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

At least if he does come back, the people who own the house with his Muriel splattered on the side of it can put off the emulsion job for another year

It could be an emulsional return though. (I love a good malapropism and a good pun).

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Come home Wilf there's a house waiting for you at the top of the Holmesdale Road

May not have the pace he had but can still run rings around defenders. He's only 31 not 41 ffs lol
Hope we get him back and anyone who wouldn't have him in Ollie's squad must be on crack. Legend and the greatest Palace player I ever saw

If I agreed with you we'd both be wrong

A yes from me if on lower wages. He's still versatile and can do a decent job. He's also going to be far more lethal than Edouard and frankly I'd feel a little sick seeing him at West Ham or somewhere else. He's been brilliant for Palace and the romantic ending to his career would be special no matter what others may think.

Massive yes from me. If Mateta can shine under Glasner then surely Wilf would do too. A lot of people with short memories on here saying no. Yes Wilf got stroppy in his last few years with us you would too with the stifling football we played at times.

He played under some average managers during her tenure and managed to shine. Yes he's older now but still managed nine league goals in Turkey plus his Champions League goals. He'd still play a big part for us.

Down to Glasner,to decide whether he can work with a Club legend, although it's worth the risk as far as I'm concerned.

Not sure he would adapt to OGs tactics, but he might. What we pay him is a big Question mark, as it has to not unbalance the existing wage structure by reinstating him as the prima donna . Having said all this a fit happy Wilf is tempting. , and better with us than against.
