I'm fully aware that LGV is the current abbreviation. It wasn't me who posted HGV, but - unusually for me - I didn't want to be accused of pedantry by correcting it. But since you've opted for pedantry, please note that the plural of LGV is LGVs not LGV's and the plural of CPC is CPCs. Ner ne ne ner ner Took your time to Google that, still I got more lyenses Dan you nd I kan spel propa, ko? Mwah luvsya you pedantic man xxx
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Oh and, by the way; as you'll see from the attached photo, the REAL licence says neither HGV nor LGV. And I repeat that category C and category CE were not at all difficult to achieve. Each required 3 days of practice and a test on the 4th day. The CPC required 5 straight days sitting in a classroom, the most challenging aspect of which was the culture shock of having to go to Slough for a week. Edited by YT (16 Jun 2024 6.00pm) Aww bless I've been in classrooms getting my different requirements & I didn't have to Google them like you, I did it proper. All 6 of my CPC,SSSSSS have been done online, NOT, in a classroom as you think you know, tho, certain areas of England are more lax than others. I hold 2(two) Operators Licences, which means, just to enlighten you, I can, have & do run transport businesses. Never tell me my business, stick to being a failed pedantic

I will need to renew it before next April so, as you say, I will take advantage of the online facility. As I said, I don't need you to enlighten me because I hold a CE licence and I drive professionally. In fact tomorrow I will be moving Mini components from Kidderminster to Cowley. Maybe I'll give you or one of your drivers a wave on the M40.

And driving us all up the walls. And on the subject of Polymaths & driving.....Rory McIlroy was good, but not good enough. Polymaths.....multiple disciplinary people.
