Alan Ford was brilliant as an uncompromising hard nut playing "Brick Top" Pullford in Snatch. His explanation about feeding corpses to pigs was classic Guy Ritchie. [Link]

he was awesome in Cockneys versus Zombies ... "they ain't f*cking vampiers they're zombies you soppy tart!". And Crusher from Porridge - great shout, I don't think he ever spoke but he was very convincing.

Good call.

- It's best to stay away from a man when his blood is up.
- His blood is always up.
- Then perhaps you should stay away from him altogether.

how can you talk of Passmore and not mention Gripper Stebson, then there's Grouty from Porridge played by the inestimable Peter Vaughan.

I may have been being just a touch ironic.

The two you have named were classics.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Surprised no Game of Thrones so far.

How about Ramsey Bolton (Snow) - Iwan Rheon

Many others to choose from.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?

Bill the Butcher (Daniel Day Lewis) from Gangs of New York. Amazing actor and character.
The Joker (Heath Ledger) more of a lunatic but how amazing was he

Sir Ben Kingsley as Don Logan in Sexy Beast. Superb, oscar-nominated performance.

I met one of the writers of the movie through a friend once and the tirades of abuse that Don came out with were improvised into a tape-recorder then transcribed. All based on his years as a doorman, handling punters ire on the door.

You're right. Tyrell Lannister would probably be the best one.
