Why do MoTD dislike Palace

Agree on the pundits, it was such a refreshing change to hear Shearer and Given talking about how well we played against Liverpool rather than how badly they played (which is often the case when we win when we're not "supposed to" ). Switch to this week and it looked like it pained Danny Murphy to let us have two weeks in a row of praise. Feels like the BBC is determined to set the rumour mill off with Eze and Olise, you've only got to look at some of the stuff on here to see that: I've never given the BBC much credit when reporting on our games, feels like half the time they're not watching it and just report on what someone down the pub has told them. It makes a change to us not even getting a line of analysis, with the pundits solely focusing on the oppo. Sure weeks went by that our performance wasn't even mentioned.

Ain’t that the truth, they miss out a lot of goalscoring chances, which is even more bizarre when they show a chance in their analysis that they don’t actually show in the highlights

In all fairness, for much of this season the only thing of interest to report was the opposition. I don't see there being any anti-Palace, more Palace-ignorance.

Of all the things to get worked up about being last on a show where every other game had more meaning should be bottom of the list

Do people not realise that unless you're a Palace fan, there isn't much interest in watching Palace? The same way in which I haven't got much interest in Bournemouth or Wolves. MOTD will try to cater for the masses - i.e. predominantly title race/Europe, followed by relegation. It's not an anti-Palace thing which most on this thread seem to think. It's not rocket science.

I think it’s more the drivel they spout and the way the programme seems to be put together by the work experience lads that bugs people more, in this day and age of recording, fast forwarding and streaming etc I can never see the problem with where we’re at in the schedule, does anyone actually sit through the whole programme till nearly midnight on a Saturday or Sunday night just waiting for us to come on ??
