I'd like to think and hope, Olise will not be going anywhere for 1 last season with Palace and the same with Eze. They are playing well and getting all the game time they want in a team they seem very comfortable in. Glasner has got the team playing positive football and they're getting well paid. My Mystic Meg prediction is that both will stay 1 more season and then head off. I predict Guehi will be the one to be sold as he has replacements. The articles I've read actually state that the starting bids must be £60 Mill to be "considered" and that isn't an asking price. I'm not sure why Olise would opt to go to Man U when they're in such a unstable place at present. Nor would I swap a grounded squad for a squad so inflated by egos.

Olise can do so much better than Man U. Staying at Palace for another season would be a good start! Edited by dg1937 (30 Apr 2024 5.57pm)

Especially after we beat them on Monday night. -------------------------------------------- Every so often I get indications (on Holmesdale) that I am letting fantasies take over my life. putting a few things together OG has said that one game was played 9by the Palace Team with such intensity that he was fearful that he might need ten substitutes at sixty minutes There is a tendency not to play Olise and Eze for ninety minutes. Loan players are coming back and their progress needs to be shown. I am thinking about the United match being played with an Academy Bench, with substitutions when we are leading 4-0, for an 8-0 result.

For a long time I was hoping this is would be the case come the close of the transfer window at the start of next season. I am now less sure: a worse scenario for me is losing both in quick succession, either in the same window or across windows in the same season. If they do both stay next year and, to quote Scotch Harry from Minder "do the bizzo", then the odds of this scenario go up materially. If both are to go would it be better to lose one this summer and one next (or not at all)? Hopefully they stay, we add more quality, they tear it up and we shoot up the league with maybe an elusive major cup win but it is food for thought.

Olise is easier to replace, in my view. Losing Eze would be a huge hole to fill.

Now rumours that PSG are in for Olise. I was wondering when that would be the case. If he leaves, I'd rather him go there, so we only have to play him in the Champions League

Use the Guehi money and a bit more to bring in 2/3 players that Glasner feels will help his very clear direction and watch us play in Europe. We are really on to something big if we continue to give things a bit of a push. So far so good.

After tonight, why would he want to join that shambles. Leaderless, no game plan, old warn out players that need replacing. Quite honestly I can see it needing a really top manager taking years to get them right. And which top manager would want to go there at the moment. Unless, Arsenal or Man City come calling, if I was Olise I'd stay at Palace and wait for either of those two or one of the Big Spanish clubs come calling.

Your statement is valid for pretty much every season since Ferguson retired. Big managers have come and gone at United and still they are a basket case.
