I would not risk Olise until we know he is match fit. Rushing him back is how we lost him yet again.

Unlikely to risk Olise under our new regime.
Thankfully,Hodgson has gone.

Does an extra week’s rehabilitation offer more guarantees that it will not be reoccurring?

I would hope (after medical clearance) that a minutes restriction would be more prudent as well as the context of the game situation (ie if 3-0 down he sits and watches or if it’s finally balanced then introduced at a later stage!)

Hodgson’s stupidity was the introduction at 3-0 down and being blown out of the water!

More likely lack of knowledge. The game and health and fitness has advanced significantly in recent years and no disrespect but it seemed Roy had been left some way behind.

I expect him to play soon enough. Maybe sub in the next game - maybe even start and come off. I thought Eze was a bit of a risk in the friendly but also needed minutes. It will be similar with Olise. The hard fact is that we need him - which seems a bit of a gamble.
The other hard fact is our wasted points this season. Had we even two or three more points we'd hardly be worried. Head says we'll stay up - heart says it's going to be harder than we seem to think. For other teams to get five wins doesn't seem likely but doesn't seem outlandish. What's worse is that us not getting many seems possible too. I remember thinking our run in looked sh1t when the fixture list came out. We could do with one of our giant killings but they're not happening. Fingers crossed.

I don't think you can blame Roy if he was told that Olise was too fatigued to start, but ok to be used as a sub and there are no issues with his hamstring.
Clearly the hamstring was still an issue.

If health and fitness was sufficiently advanced Olise wouldn't have even been on the bench

Yep. He must have been given the OK by the medics. I doubt any of us really know what went on, but whatever, I'll be happy to rely on Ollie's judgement with advice from the medics.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Chris Kavanagh is the Ref for this game. Forest better be on their best behaviour after what happened prior to the 'break' their coach has been given a 2 match touchline ban for 'foul &/or abusive language directed to the match official'. What with that & the points deduction, could be a fiesty match.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

People need to stop clutching at straws , thinking that just because they have had a points deduction it will galvanise the team, Forest , Luton and Everton to some extent are in their respective positions because of their form , the fact that Forest have received a knock will not make them into a good team overnight , the form of those three teams over the last 10 league games has been horrendous (even worse than ours) i dont think this deduction will bolster them

Wont make them a good team, but could extract another 10%.

Remember Everton won 4 games in a row after their point deduction.

This is going to be a real challenge for us and I am not expecting all the points.
Chris Wood might prove a real threat to us.

But people who live in or around Nottingham will quite often shorten Nottingham to Notts so to shorten to notts forest is perfectly acceptable. I have plenty of forest supporting friends who will also write notts forest (or just forest obviously). There's no grammar issue here and is just preference for some people when talking about them.

Saying Nottingham County or nottm County however is a different story as its just not their name
