I just had a look at Luton’s next batch of games. Blimey they have a pretty tough run.

Liverpool
Villa
Us
Forest

FT 1-2 Luton not offering so much as the first half but carried quite a threat.

Andros got on but no fireworks from him.

I have witnessed Luton play with such verve, determination, work rate, vim and vigour. Most certainly at the 'Kenny' no team is given an easy ride.

Yes,I note Luton played with the many qualities you outlined against Sheffield last week and thankfully got the same number of points against Man U today: A big fat zero!!

I suspect they will collect zero points when they travel to Liverpool on Wednesday.

What should be noted is that Luton have scored in their last 12 PL games.

Agree Willo - all the things we are lacking ATM..!!

Think Sheff U and Burnley gone..!!

Unless Everton and/or Forest get deducted points - think it’s a straight fight between us and Luton..!!

Which seems crazy doesn’t it - given the quality of our squad and potential first XI - compared to any team outside what the top 8..??

But IMO thats the position we’re in I’m afraid - due to injuries and poor management - both at board and team management/coaching level..!!

Hopefully Glasner coming in will give us the “bounce” we need..!!

But I’m afraid that’s what happens - when you try and just “get by” - and that’s all on SP..!!

So in summary just got to finish ahead of Luton - which ain’t going to a walk in the park - unless we can get Eze and Olise back on the pitch and firing together soon..!!

COYP

After this weekends fixtures and having watched Forest v spam and Luton today, I’ve been over ours, Everton, luton and forests remaining fixtures.

I am well aware anything can happen and we for example may have a bounce if OG comes in. Everton and Forest could get deductions etc etc.

However looking at all 4 teams remaining fixtures/opponents and based on ‘sensible’ assumptions I see the following after the final day.

Forest 37 pts
Palace 34 pts
Everton 32 pts
Luton 27 pts

Not great and in one way I really hope I’m wrong (we get a lot more points) but I can live with finishing with Everton and Luton below us.

Here’s hoping.

Quite realistic.
Often think that too much is being made of Luton and their formidable Manager, but in all fairness, the league table never lies.
