For me it needs a win but a well fought out 1-1 would be ok.

Have we signed anyone yet??

Almost as important are any players ready to come back yet.

Ominous quote from Roy in his update just posted on the club website

“I'm not prepared to say that the next part of the season hinges on transfers.”

Which presumably means there aren’t any coming in. Although Munoz I thought was a done deal?

Clutching at straws, i know, but Wilder did say in his presser that the new keeper is now the No1 he let in 5 against Brighton on his debut at the w/e. Still going 1-2.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Good news for a change. If only Doucoure could make a miraculous return akin to the second coming. I know it won't happen but the optimist in me wonders if we might seem him in March/April. Probably not really.

I don't want to a kill joy but I can see an embarrassing defeat.

2-0 to the Blades and goodbye Roy.

I have a different mindset on this matter and I suspect this would echo that of the majority of our supporters.

Failure to beat a bottom of the table team following on from our abject home results, and some dour performances, will certainly not quell the enmity and animus which is ever present.

I agree, only a win will placate the fans. I dread to think what the reaction to a scoreless draw would be.

Oh my giddy aunt !

Supporters will be in a state of apoplexy, steaming like cooked clams, a crescendo of disapproval echoing around Selhurst Park.

Roy will be pleased,"respect the point" as he continues our march towards the Championship, reiterating how spoilt we have all been!!

The 10 day mini break should act as another reset opportunity so fully expect a different mindset and performance! We essentially have the same side (minus Chiek add Michael) available as when we started the season with such optimism.

The first of 3 home games left against the bottom 3 clubs might provide a different picture soon.

Other than the first game of the season we have not dominated any games! Time to start tomorrow!

3-1 Palace (60% possession)

A win MIGHT placate the fans but only if it's a commanding performance and comfortable win. A 1-0 nail-biter won't change much IMHO.

...he will be!

Much to my surprise too, to be fair. If he's fit to play a reasonably big role then I'm much more optimistic. I just hope Sheffield Utd don't try and kick Eze and Olise (if he plays) off the pitch. They were very physical in their game against West Ham, at times spilling over into slightly nasty.
