They will get the chance to drop down to Europa League being they managed to get the third place in group.

The issues with loan system is the fee and wages I expect this is why Palace have not been trying.

Quality players are on a lot of money most will be on close to 120 thousand and loan fee will be a few mil.

I thought I read somewhere that Jadon Sancho is on 350k per week? Apparently plenty of clubs want him on loan but not on those wages.

I would be going after Calvin Phillips for a loan until the end of the season.
He needs to play to be in the Euros and is pretty much guaranteed game time every match with us.
He is used to playing in teams that might not be at the top of the tree - what is not to like?
He might prefer a top 6 club for his loan but would he get enough minutes?
If the club would pay up he could be a great loan deal.

City have apparently been quoting a loan fee of £7.5m.

I'd take Madueke off Chelsea - could even be available on a permanent. Smith Rowe still knocking around doing nothing. Both of those would relieve some pressure on Eze/Olise and allow for a bit more rotation.

For a holding midfield option we're likely to need to go abroad.

There's talk of Nketiah being available on a permanent to free up FFP funds to let Arsenal buy a top striker.

Whilst a very good player, that's exactly the kind of transfer that can leave us at Arsenal's mercy for 31 days until they can't get their deal done, they pull the rug and in doing so f*** up our entire window.

Hasn't he already turned a move to us down twice? He's already on the same coin as Olise and Eze and with a team still in the Champions League and title race. Can't see it happening

Correct, just like the supposed previous Bendtner deal.

As i said on another post, If ever there was a perfect loan with obligation to buy it has to be Chalobah, only 24, 6´4´´ can cover Doucoure and then drop back into CD when one of them is sold in the summer, south London boy, not wanted by Chelsea, on 50k a week, surely a nailed on for us, i would hope.
