At least still 1 team in the PL having scored less goals than us, Sheffield United.

May change in a few weeks, though.

Wow! Big Sam's teams must be about 13 stone overweight per player, I don't believe it!

We desperately need a new manager and some players.

I made the case for Roy staying on at the beginning but bar the highly unlikely scenario of us rescuing something from this game, the loss, lack of idea in front of goal, and conceding from their only touch in our box in the first half just shows how we’re less than the sum of our parts and underperforming by a mile.

We need a shake up, a new manager and a couple signings ready to play for the first team. Can’t see it happening, even with yet another long period of us losing every game, which has started and is set to continue.

The closest we came to anything was a deflected FK taken by our CB. Says everything.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Agreed.
It’s so slow. Our build up play is just awful.

I know Roy can only work with what he has and looking at Richard’s for example, he does know what the best 11 are (we should never moan about Schlupp again) but I think we could be in serious trouble by the new year.
I get moaned at by my Mrs because I watch pretty much every game of premier league football I can and I’m telling you, there are not 3 worse teams than us right now.
We are stale and heading only one way at the moment and the board won’t help when the transfer window opens.

We wont get relegated as there are worst teams than us, but we are so lacking in quality up front, i dont expect us to buy anyone in Jan, but i expect at least 2/3 loans, Roy is looking his age, why we dont try some youngsters, it has always been Roy's one downfall, under 21s beat Man city 3-0 yesterday, must be some decent enough to bring into the first team.

Westham not getting out of second gear and us having no final ball and urgency. Let’s hope we up the pace in second half but I doubt we have the players to do it? Lots of awful passes by us as well, constantly losing possession. Will take 1:0 down and shame deflection didn’t go in for us. Midfield looks the scratch put together that it is which really doesn’t help :-(

I think we will buy one and loan one.

Play the Brazilian ffs. Literally what do we have to lose . Give the guy a proper chance. Hughes off. Franca on . If this doesn’t happen then Roy can do one. This team needs to take risks because we ain’t got the overall skill level to play football as a team. We need play makers

It wouldn't sadden me overly to see Roy outed, tactically he is totally one dimensional, but whoever takes over patently has only half a team of PL standard players. maybe 3 or 4 if they showed their true potential could move on to better things, but playing in this side with this manager is clearly holding them back.
Incidentally I watched the highlights of the U21 game versus Man City and it was a shocking novelty to see young players bursting with pace in the right areas, creating overlaps and generally looking threatening in attack.

It wouldn't sadden me at all to see Roy gone. He should never of been appointed for another year in the first place. It was the cheap and least ambitious option by our board to keep him on.

We have one win in 7 games and that win wasn't a good performance either. If we get nothing out of Bournemouth on Wednesday we then face Liverpool, Man City, Brighton and Chelsea..
I said a few weeks back I think we'll finish between 13th and 17th and was called a 'drama queen'.. Based on our current form and performance level I cannot see it being any higher

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Off couse we may go down this season.

Sheff United and possible Burnley may be weaker than us, but Everton certainly isn't.

What's more, why should our best players be staying - surely it is more fun playing for top 6, than suffering relegation.

Not at all

Sheff UTD, Burnley and you forgot about Luton 3 for you and a few others could be added to the list way a head of Palace.

You are either not very bright or like to make drama out of nothing.

I don't see lines for taking all our best players many rumors which are meaningless only official offers matter.

The only positive things to look towards in this game is we have been so poor can it get any worse and we are known for putting in better shift second half until the end when we throw it away.

Expect Roy to wait to do changes as well if one of the younger players is lucky he may get more then 10 min game time.

They wouldn't get rid of Roy and he wouldn't walk unless we was right down the bottom with no chance.

Roy is not cheap his salary is fairly high

A big issue for Palace they do not appear to have any good options not many people in line for the job because the standards are so poor why would you want it unless you are lower league manager or sub par guy from abroad (SP is very selective as well this is why he keeps or doesn't even try to sign some types of players)

We perform better against bigger teams.
