Shoot magazine though, now you’re talking, certainly wish I hadn’t dumped my box loads I had when I left home back in the 80’s Me too, mate. I had them all from issue #1. And I kept all the league ladders and FA Cup wallcharts too, except I couldn't bring myself to complete the 1976 wallchart after the heartbreak of us being kicked and cheated out of the semi-final. I think they all went to a jumble sale in the end.

Do you think the English and Scottish crofters gave a damn? The peasants on both sides were just trying to scratch a living and yet they got dragged into fighting each other because one noble offended another. Twas ever thus. WW2 was one of the few times when we were involved in a just war. WW1 we should have stayed out of it.

I was going to say something political on that point but then remembered that this is about time travel and all that stuff can be discussed on other threads. It would be kind of cool to see the dinosaurs. Or I could buy a Rolling Stones tour ticket I suppose.

I would like to travel back and sabotage the deal when Ray Bloye sold the land to Sainsbury’s. Back then the ground went right back to Whitehorse Road, we could’ve built a huge stand, but we’d probably still be waiting for work to start.

All the decisions from trees growing to us being happy or sad. Ad infinitum isn’t already mapped out. Creepy to think our thoughts are already decided before we think them.

I would time travel back to 1919 and show them video footage of the rise of the Third Reich. A just War ? Hitler was a monster. But so was Stalin, and those who bombed Hiroshima & Dresden. anyhoo....time Travel..... i would travel to Eastern Scotland around two thousand years ago. And get some recordings of the Pictish language. For the academics to try to figure it out. Edited by PalazioVecchio (05 Nov 2023 4.46pm)

I'm not going to bore you with paradoxes and butterfly effects, but many good things come from bad and vice versa. Changing history would be completely pointless. I must admit that I would consider giving myself a bit of good advice, but that might also be unwise. One can't stop being one's self, but you could be a lot richer of course, but I wouldn't want to give up what I have.

Now that was a good film, I think that and the dogs of war are films that started my love of Christopher Walken
