What about freedman ? what has he actually achieved that warrants being the director of football ? Would he get that role at any other Premier league club ? No. Yes olise and eze were great signings but they were both young championship players of the year, so hardly footballs best kept secret. The only surprising thing was that no one else went for them.

Hardly. I did report his post saying "I thought Sarf was the most ignorant idiot on the forum, but i think you have taken over as the most half witted thickhead at the present time, and that is saying something"

The mods in their infinite wisdom decided that it wasn't worth taking any action so it looks like personal abuse is now acceptable as HOL slides downhill in it's bid to outdo the BBS in allowing people to insult it's members

you need to relax, calm down, dont bust your boiler

Raul Jimenez 5.50
Jack Harrison loan
Max Aarons 7m
CHO 5m
Gonzalo Montiel loan
Origi loan

they are 100k+ a week players, come on now.

Honestly I am so sick of this bs it’s like a broken record. A couple of half decent signings and this team would be in Europe this year and blind Freddy could see it. Parish is Parish and we all know it. His game is to avoid relegation AND Europe because that’s his business model and it’s clear as crystal has been for 11 seasons. The premier league by definition is about trying to win it not avoid relegation or finishing too high because you’d be forced to by a squad for Europe. It’s dishonourable to the league not to compete for it. DISGRACEFUL.

of those i think the only 2 of interest would be Traore and maybe CHO. Both are on big money, but then so is Henderson.
I think Traore is a Palace type player, unplayable on his day, but i note he is barely featuring for Fulham so it appears his inconsistency is not just due to the Wolves set up.

Jack Harrison had an injury when Everton signed him - i know, i know!!

Truth is premier football is all about money. I believe if Parish had it, it would be well spent. No one knows the bottom line on all these transfer fees and wages after all the info comes from the press.
But give the guy a break. He is not in Tony Bloom's league as he doesn't have his wealth so he has to rely on others. He saved CPFC bacon and since getting us in the premier has kept us there. He found some very hefty investors, who it would appear have gone off the boil (sadly not sure they were ever really on it.)
Compare our investors to Newcastle and you can see a glaring difference. Imagine where Amanda Staively would be if the Saudi PFI had turned their back on her.
Overall we are holding our own as a mid table club, and this season from the look of the table any fear of relegation should hopefully evaporate by Christmas.
This is the season to try and clarify an investment plan to move us forwards. Much easier said than done, but if we want to take the next step up we will definitely need the money to deliver.

I think we all get frustrated at times with Palace's apparent lack of ambition. I saw the former Spurs Moron talking with Jason Cundy about Man United's total destruction of 'pathetic Palace' on Talksport earlier. These type of uneducated rants from second rate ex pros that know very little facts about Palace business model dont help.
As I mentioned previously, our second string is not competitive enough. Most of us probably saw the writing on the wall when the team was announced. Will it be a completely different team on Saturday? Of course. We dont have the resources to give United two good games in a week. Not yet. I do believe we will do in a couple of years and it is frustrating when the club gets criticised for the manner of that defeat but these idiots are not living in the real world. Expecting us to compete twice in a week against a team that can afford to happily waste 80m on Harry Maguire and 60m on Mason Mount.
Baby steps or get into huge debt and put the club's future at risk? I know what I prefer.

Sentiments rooted in sound judgement and common sense.
I tip my hat.
