Because he's no longer injured and is training with the U21's

Something of a paradox - we’re currently appreciative of the international breaks to allow injured players to recover while at the same time the injuries to Olise, Lerma and Guehi were caused by……the internationals.

After Luca, Mac and a loan left why oh why did the club not at least balance the situation with two more mid fielders? Maybe Franca, was thought of as one ,but that’s a question mark in its self. He is not fit and it’s really not clear as to when he will be. Lerma has improved the team, he is a catch , but lose him and Hugh’s, at the same time and the cover is not good enough.

£15m,rising to £20m with add, ons??
Very bad decision when we desperately needed a decent striker.
Now out for an unspecified period,in any event, joining Ferguson and Franca in the sick room.

But Parish said our squad was strong enough.

The moment we reappointed Roy we should have all clicked on. The whole approach to this season is one of “making do” as best we can.
The window further reinforced this with no RB and no CF arriving and not replacing Wilf/Macca/Luca also key indicators that once again we are simply going to have to hope there are 3 worse teams in the league.

Franca, Henderson and Lerma are good signings but clearly the approach this season is one of consolidation rather than progression.

We have some tough fixtures in the congested run up to Christmas that may warrant spending some money to strengthen the squad and improve our league position from January onwards.

The trouble with our new signings is that we haven’t seen much of them yet. Olise will undoubtedly provide some impetus to our team when he's fit again.

He’s not, “no longer injured”, he’s, between injuries.

Perhaps the 2 that got away over the summer that RH refers to?

Hughes was so good yesterday we can afford to rest Lerma until after the international break.

Fingers crossed the break doesn't send half our team back in an ambulance (what is the collective noun for ambulances? A ner-ner?)

True. Thank heaven Guehi was only minor. Or is it?

Galitasera not happy they got Wilf pig in a poke. Their due diligence nothing we did wrong. However, makes you think how many players are compelled to play injured? The rich clubs can rest their players properly. We cannot.

Back 4th November according to EPL injury table.

If selected (obvs no chance) it will be like when Wickham came on and the younger fans said "Conor who?"
