I remember stumbling across the American version but couldn’t bring myself to try and watch it, even if it was good it just wouldn’t be the same. Which I suppose you could say about any new British attempt at a remake. So basically i probably just need to watch the original series again

The Office is still good with both the British version & the American one - when I was working overseas I only saw the American version, was quite surprised when I got over here & found that there was a British version too. Originally posted by monkey

I'm a Celebrity get me out of Here!, with venemous animals and insects and hallucinogenic food challenges. The only difference is that the Celebs watch Ant and Dec do the trials. ...suspended by their testicles from a helicopter over a lake full of Piranhas. ....the celebs or Ant and Dec either works for me. Ask the Family but Robert Robinson is irreplaceable, Nationwide but Frank Bough is a deceased pervert, I'd have to plump for Indoor League, maybe with Geoffrey boycott as Ray Illingworth and Bernard Ingham are dead, and I can't think of any more professional Yorkshireman. Off topic, I'm afraid, but mention of that great man reminds me of a radio programme he did, in which he chatted to a small group of men (yes, men) from various trades. On one occasion he had a group of cabbies in, and asked whether people lauded it a bit because they were hiring a taxi. One told a story about a very hoity-toity couple he'd driven: Customer: Okay, cabbie, drive on.
