Those who suffer with TDS will never get it, theres no brakes on the trump train now.

Trump is the end boss of meme magic, it's the perfect mug shot timed perfectly with his reappearance on X.

It's like the final part of a trilogy happening in real time.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. His support with his base is rock solid and they will lap up this type of meme like the good puppies they resemble. However there is growing evidence that support from the more thoughtful areas of the GOP are beginning to question whether he is actually the right person to beat Biden, or whoever the Democrats ultimately put up. There are already plenty of alternative memes in circulation, some featuring that image, or parodies of it. Like these:-

Just like they can't do comedy anymore.

They completely fecked it....something the British were famous for is now an embarrassment compared to our glorious past.

That the right either don’t appreciate them or understand them isn’t the same as being unable to produce and circulate them. There is plenty of opposition to the Trump agenda out there, but it’s unlikely to ever be seen by those it targets.

Suggesting Liz Cheney is from the “left” is obvious nonsense. She is, and has always been a Republican. Just one who has seen through Trump from the beginning, as many other senior Republicans have. She though has had the bravery to maintain her integrity and speak the truth, rather than sell her soul to the devil.

The first one's quite funny but most would just see Trump's statement and agree with it - so it backfired completely: plus what is normal-handed? Even handed perhaps? The surrender one could be funny but needs a picture and some kind of clarification. The Liz Cheney one is just not funny and reads more like a US news tag line; only party members would give a f*** whilst chortling over their morning iced coffee, reading the New Yorker.
The decomposing Zoolander analogy needs work - potential there. I was thinking more like care home Boris Becker - but is that funny? I'm not sure.

Do you really think most Americans would agree with Trump’s statement? Most Republicans, probably but these aren’t aimed at them and, like it or not, most Americans are not Republicans. They are either Democrats or independents.

I think what the politically offerings to the USA public currently are, tends to polarise views. The middle-ground voters probably feel quite over-looked.

Everyone's almost bound to think some element of society are criminals. You're letting an unconscious bias cloud your judgement now. No one said anyone in particular were criminals and rapists. I thought Trump might be referring to some section of society he doesn't like, maybe Muslims or immigrants or something but still don't know - or particularly care.
My main entertainment is just how rock bottom most Western democracies are. I wouldn't let most world leaders run a zebra crossing these days; I wouldn't trust them to own a teasmade. I'm not sure Biden is even alive. I've stopped being concerned - it's too far gone.

He's lost it. It's not even funny. The script has to be one word written large in crayons now. He's going to have baby reins soon.

By the Trump camp certainly. They are too busy confirming their biases and producing garbage memorabilia to help pay legal fees to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

Not by the Democrats. They realise that the middle ground is where the real battle must be fought and just about everything being done is aimed there.

If the GOP was able to distance itself from Trump and then shake itself free of him and put up a younger candidate, possibly female, whilst ensuring he could not then run as an independent, they would walk this election. Right now they are terrified to raise even a finger for fear of him splitting the vote and see Trump as their only option, much as many dislike it. I suspect many accept that 2024 is lost already and are looking at 2028 as the opportunity to whitewash over Trump and rebuild the party.

He said and did lots of other things than a few cherry picked snippets.
