Actually makes me quite sad, I’m watching it now, the band sounds great, but she’s painful, still one of my all time favourite bands and had her on my bedroom wall, but bless her, it’s not good now

Bloody hell; I never knew you knew her THAT well! Lucky bugger.

Christ. Watching Debbie Harry is like watching your drunk 78 year old grandmother doing karaoke.

Embarrassing.

In my teens I was a Blondie fan however they have gotten away with it for years. The media have often called them a new wave band and they have a lot of undeserved street cred.

They were a pop band who produced good pop songs but because they hung around with Iggy Pop Dave Bowie and the like they managed to avoid the pop band cliche tag.

A good pop band nothing more.

One more point

Does it really matter? All music boils down to whether you like listening to it or whether you don't. As for Blondie; on yesterday's performance, as someone else has posted I thought the musicians and backing singers were excellent but the lead singer was not!

This is the odd thing about Glastonbury though - the crowds seem to enjoy everything equally. Death metal to someone playing the spoons is all the same to them. Suppose it's more about being there than who's on the bill.

Oh yes, Kate Bush as well, I used to lay staring at them both every night

Blondie isn't blond as I've seen her naked and Kate used to score her bush in Stafford road.

I make you right there Teddy, when you see Rick Astley singing in front of thousands of people who look like they’re enjoying themselves, you know you’ve entered this strange parallel universe called Glastonbury

Yep. I can't imagine that when I was 18 I'd have been singing along to Jess Conrad or Dennis Lotis.

Well at least Elton was on form.

Obviously, he can't hit the notes he did in his 20s but he was the pick of the lot along with Cat Stevens. I quite liked Royal Blood too.

Lana Del Rey has got a bit chunky. Maybe that is taking here trailer trash image a little too far.

The Arctic Monkeys were dull as. They have only done one good album.

The Foo Fighters were a tuneless racket as usual. I really don't understand their popularity. They only have a couple of good songs.

I thought Elton was awful he shouted the songs rather than singing them.
