It's end effect is to actually increase economic inequality between rich and poor. Which considering the politics of its main supporters is kind of a bad joke. It's part of the reason they get so hard on the social liberalism....because the neo liberalism part is only about doing as well as they can for themselves. They aren't actually any different to those in the past they purport to detest.....they just wear different outfits.

We knew all these inherent problems a hundred years ago. There was wisdom in the past that was far more realistic though it's demonised today....it's the lies of liberalism that ultimately end up worsening the lives of the most vulnerable by ignoring the realities of nature. Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2023 5.16pm) I thought reparations were the fix

The amount of money pumped into fraud schemes like BLM amounts to reparations anyway....Corporates pumped hundreds of millions into that.....Bank of America and most of them....the blatant incompetence born of idealogy is stunning when you think of it. Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2023 6.02pm) It’s not really ideology imho. It’s the fear of being labelled by not conforming. Well it’s coming home to roost now as the left are slowly eating each other at a faster rate than the right. There are many black republicans both in the arena and as voters. Although it’s never shown but it’s there. BLM can suck their own cocks.

'Woke' capital exists because of how the system is structured now. Laws were passed to essentially force all companies to follow the same social liberal attitudes....they freeze out alternatives. Once you look into it you can see why it happens.....ESG scores dictate investment....the three largest companies have shares in all the major companies and people who oppose woke don't get to make the boardrooms.....Look into it. None of this happened by accident and it's an actual conspiracy....but a legal and idealogical one.....culture is downstream from law. People say 'get woke, go broke'....and they might point at Bud Light as an example....but what they don't know is that Bud Light is just one brand....the company that owns it also owns many other brands and lots of those customers just brought a different beer that they owned.....it's rigged....like the stock market. If you really want to get rid of woke capital, you have to bring back real competition into the market, which means breaking up the share influence of these largest firms and stopping their influence over the market......Proper competition and going back to a non rigged system. There would be no woke...well, it would be a niche sector.... with real competition. Fat chance of that happening until something serious comes along. Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2023 6.47pm)

Edited by Stirlingsays (17 Jun 2023 8.54pm) Bearing in mind I went to University in Ireland, everytime my housemate went drinking - which, to be fair, was quite often in those days - he'd come back and stick on Zulu on DVD. We still have a laugh about Hooky and The Redoubt etc to this day. I once bothered painting the Airfix soldiers and recreated Rorke's Drift. Didn't like Zulu Dawn though.

Yeah, I use to be into all that at that age....maybe I'll go back to it....probably not...bought this Titanic model thing to put together five years ago and I'm still looking at the box.
