At least 15 Christians have been killed when Islamic killers opened fire on a church service in Burkina Faso. This happened on Sunday, 25 February at a church in Essakane Village, Oudalan province, in the north east of the country.

“In the morning at 8am, the Christians were gathered in chapel for the Sunday mass," stated Abbot Jean-Pierre Sawadogo, head of the local diocese. The Islamic murders arrived on motorcycles and opened fire on the Christians in the chapel. Thirteen died on the spot, including a young boy, two were seriously injured and died later from their injuries.

In recent years, in Burkina Faso, Islamist groups have burned villages, markets and businesses, abducted and raped many women and killed large numbers of civilians.

When the Israelis have finished in Gaza perhaps they could sort the situation out. Of course huge demonstrations in London would result, but hey Ho…

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

King's Cross.

the link below includes the text......

"A mission of Roman monks arrived in Essex in AD 597 with the relics of the martyr saint St Pancras. Their aim was to convert Britain to Christianity. The monks built a church in the place where St Pancras Old Church is today, making the site one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Europe."

Just GB News getting frothy about not a lot as says pretty similar messages in the bible (other religious tracts are available.)

Romans 3.23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. 23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

If you insist on looking for stuff to get cross about it's not say enough to find it.

Shocking that this should be displayed in a Christian country.

The person who authorised this should be sacked.

Had it been the other way round there would have been outrage.

It's a train station why display messages of any faith.

Update.

The Rail companies have enough on their plates, strikes, poor service, disruption and expensive fares so somebody thought it a good idea to get involved in faith based issues, because what could possibly go wrong there.

The only notices I want to see at a train service are "your train is on time".

And do they have messages for atheists?

When the Christians first arrived into the Americas they targeted any holy or sacred sites of the Native Americans. And often supplanted the new religion onto these sites.

And that is maybe the point. I guess they would have less options if it was paid advertising space but they can control what is on their own boards.

Mind you I get fed up with just seeing either the word delayed or that my train is being prepared (only to then get a platform 5 mins before it is due to leave but that is another story.

Different people are likely to be objecting to this for different reasons. For those objecting because a religious expression has been made in a public train station, I would ask the question: "ok, point taken - but if you have your way where does that lead?"

Some context for balance: [Link]
