Even if Nelsson is coming to SP it doesn't mean we will be selling Guehi. If:
1. we let Tomkins go
2. Richards is deemed too injury prone
3. the preferred new manager wants to have a 3 at the back option
then bringing in Nelsson would make sense without selling Guehi.

However, we need to spend serious money come the summer and if the owners aren't going to provide it from their own pockets, Guehi is probably our top player asset and may need to be sold to help fund transfers in.

Very good post ! I hope you're right. Would be great to keep Geuhi and add another promising CB. I guess it depends how much cash Parish has in the bank and whether there's a need to sell to finance the summer incomings?

Our transfer dealings in the summer window will be dependant on which division we will be ploughing our furrow in next season.

I suspect transfer funds will be available for purchases from a plethora of sales if we plummet through that dastardly relegation 'Trapdoor'.

we really cant afford to have top quality replacements although obviously we would like that, RB, Wilf replacement, And try to out Edouard, maybe a swap with someone half decent up front, i would be happy with that, although the more the merrier.

He's older than ideal, but could be a great addition, IF he can adjust to PL levels. A bit of a gamble, so maybe not?

I'd like to see Edouard play if he recovers his confidence.

I know, he has had fair chance. But there must still be that player somewhere in there who was scoring for fun at celtic??

For once we need to use the Loan system properly, 4 available, no point in loaning anyone who isnt a automatic choice, unless it is a loan to buy option, this could be a bridging year to see how the younger players are progressing, i think Chelsea will have a few options available, and whoever is relegated, not us

Loans are dead money, some can cost an absolute packet, I'm not surprised we don't always use our quota

No they aren't if used correctly. There are huge bonuses available for each place up the table we finish so where would we have finished last season and how much money would we have lost without Conor Gallagher's contribution

Probably out of our reach, but Arsenal are apparently willing to listen to offers for Folarin Balogun. He's quick, two footed and has had a great season in France.

Certainly fleet of foot and I have heard him being praised for his movement. I have also heard someone opining that Balogun is a natural finisher.

He has scored 18 goals for Reims this season.

Sounds like a shout with no idea as to his availability.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I read that Pukki is out of contract at Norwich in June.

He scored goals when in the PL so if he's going cheap could be the finisher we are lacking.

Otherwise Viktor Gyorkeres at 24 and a Swedish international looks promising but will command a substantial fee. Pretty certain if we don't get him he will be in the PL soon.
