We've produced all of Jamesey's columns to read in print in a pretty hefty A4-sized book over 350 pages.

His articles are archived online, but this is a brilliant account of Palace history from his perspective over 20 years. I think it serves as a nice tribute to him.

It's available on Amazon for £9.99 where other Palace fans who may not have read his columns will also be able to find it. [Link]

I'm sorry to have to announce that Jamesey, who wrote 'Jamesey's Veteran View' for many years, passed away last week after a short illness.

He'd been a regular season ticket holder at Selhurst Park for many years and watched thousands of matches as well as travelling to away games and written accounts of these which were posted on Holmesdale.net

He is survived by his wife, Mary.

Paul Howard (Nephew)

Once again, my condolences and a thank you for his service to our club and its fans.

I've ordered the book and look forward to it.

Wow....got the book...it really is immense.

A very brief initial review:

"Superb book. Great reference as a reminder of Palace games over the last 20 years or so. Well written match reports from a bit of a legend amongst Palace fans. Beautifully edited into an immensely enjoyable read. This is a pretty big book, was expecting it to be half the size.....just all round excellent."

RIP Jamesey

Mine came today. Looks very good - quite like We All Follow the Palace from the early 90s (which by the way is currently on Amazon for £1108.99).

I'm glad you like it! If you haven't already, could you put this review on Amazon. It will help other Palace fans find it.

Received mine, it's very professionally done. It looks like a 'must have' for all Palace fans who have experienced the last twenty years up to 2020 and obviously especially Hol regulars.

I don't know how I missed the news of his passing at the time it happened but, goodness me what a shock and how terribly sad.

From time to time I sent Jamesey direct messages to comment on his articles. He always took the time to reply and was invariably gracious and courteous. A sad loss for the Palace family.
