Roy will keep us in the Prem. And next August we can appoint Carlo Ancelloti, if many of the other Hol-Eagles are correct.

I will agree he's more likely to than Vieira. My guess is that anyone with any balls turned us down. I truly wish Roy had too.

I think Roya the most logical... none of the other supposed candidates would get a tune out of a team they don't know....have no affiliation with. He knows the team, the staff, what most of the players can do...they will respect him and Lewington can at least train a team unlike the last shambles. Roy doesn't know most of the team as all of the supposed flair players with the exception of Zaha have come in since he left after Parish wouldn't renew his contract. Why do you think that the team will respect him?

Was going to start a different thread however this one seems appropriate. Just thought it worth noting that whilst I have my little contingent, and of course you lovely folks, I obviously cannot fully evaluate the entire fanbase's feelings around Parish. It often seems somewhat split but has never been too hotly debated. Having of course looked across here, Instagram, Twitter and even on the BBC this morning, it's the first time I have seen quite a unanimous condemning of Parish and real venom behind comments which if nothing else seems like a movement in the direction of things for me. Interesting or not? We'll see.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Maybe he has videos of Textor, Harris and Blitzer that he is using. It’s like watching Bobby Axelrod and Mike Prince slug it out in Billions, but this unfortunately is real and Parish is the Attorney General with no money but a huge ego.

If we stay up he will say that he got it right. When the reality will be that the Board took for granted our Premier League status and didn't do enough squad recruitment to enable us to ensure mid table safety. If we stay up, we face a likelihood of the same underinvestment in the first team next season. A statement from the board, admitting they have been culpable would have been nice. Unfortunately all we are likely to get is the next 'arriving in style' instalment.

"Arriving in style" is really a bit of a misnomer. Those photos mainly prove that having an abundance of money doesn't go hand-in-hand with having any fashion sense (Joakim Andersen excepted). Quite why paying £600 for a Primark t-shirt because it says "Palm Angels" on the tag passes as "style" is an enduring mystery to me.

I really hope they do a special edition of "Arriving In Style" starring Roy Hodgson. Roy can arrive in his Lamborghini, in his M&S tracksuit, flicking a few hip hop hand signs to the paparazzi, it'll be amazing!

True Syd. Though they do park up in a Lamborghini or Bentley, so I suppose they have arrived in style, even if the clothing, is anything but for a old git like me who prefers a polo shirt, jeans and a comfy pair of shoes. Originally posted by sydtheeagle
