I hear it’s not being televised in the UK. One thing after another in this bloody country…

Dyche in his first game for Everton showed how to get at them. They were second best to crosses going into the box, particularly for headers, pressing and some strong tackling. They gave them no room to play from the off. Unfortunately we have shown little aerial threat all season so can't see us hurting them with our squad in this way. However at least we can get stuck into them like Everton. COYP !!

Yep. No aerial threat I can think of. Someone please prove me wrong and score a header. Edited by NE14T (19 Mar 2023 9.34am)

Jordan Ayew scored a header not too long ago but that was against Bournemouth ( he was pretty much unmarked) so I dont think that we can consider that an aerial threat Originally posted by NE14T

If we have no aerial threat, then wingers, crosses, corners, set-pieces are all superfluous. We'll have to tippy tappy pass our way through an organised defence. Can't see that happening.

Arsenal 0-4 Palace

I reckon we’ll do em 2-3 with an Eze winner. I remember him missing a sitter when we played them first game of the season so he owes us. Come on Eze! Other scorers Wilf and Mateta.

I would've and now wish I could say the outcome would be good because Arsenal like to play in a way that suits us best, but sadly for us our confidence is completely and utterly shot whilst theirs is through the roof. Outcome not good, not good at all.
