Simple. Get them both back on loan next season and we can work out who is better.

We need to get loans with option to buy then we'll have something to talk about.
Until then, loans remain short term fixes until (hopefully) we get our house in order.

Who knows, there might be a bid for Lokonga or Gallagher in the summer, if Textor delivers....

Fingers crossed PJ

So the team that can’t score goals don’t need an energetic goal scoring midfield player

This season with Chelsea, CG has 1 goal and 1 assist in 1,100 minutes played. Aside from his crazy first 2 months with us, he really does not score regularly. I'd still like him back, but his goal scoring abilities seem to be over-estimated.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Really?? 8 from midfield is fairly decent, especially for us as we struggle to score goals

The way it’s going for Conor. Potter will get the sack and they will bring in a manager who needs results (meaning experienced players will possibly play) not sure Conor will be playing as much as he expected.

Gallagher literally played against us and a handful of minutes during the transfer window... now straight back out of the team. Think he'll be frustrated at the end of the season and will leave but it won't be to us as they'll want way too much money.

Chelsea have an awful lot of forwards more capable than CG of scoring goals.... Palace less so = more opportunity

He didn't just score goals it was the quality of them.

As it stands we've got centre backs that cant score goals, full backs that cant score goals, central midfield players with great interception stats that cant pick a pass, move us forward or score goals, centre forwards who can't score goals.

Previously we had a full back who everyone slagged off who was good for five goals a season, centre backs who regularly contributed , midfield players like Gallagher who regularly ran past the forwards.

For a striker Freedman doesn't seem able to spot someone who knows where the goal is.

Excellent point, he could’ve had a goal of the season competition on his own

While I'm going it was interesting to hear Skipp and Kane talking about the amount of work they do on the second ball ball on the edge of the box while our shooting from distance is poor.
