Well that was a snooze-fest. At least we are still in it but it is hard to see where a goal is going to come from ( for Palace that is)

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why we are playing Mateta, Schlupp and Ayew rather that Edouard, Hughes/MacArthur and Eze. They must do something spectacular in training but this is getting bloody ridiculous now. Im hoping the master plan is to finnish the game with said players in trying to win the match

Well that was great. A predictable effortless half of nothing. We have absolutely nothing going forward. If anyone can bottle a sweat drop off of one of our attackers they are set for life, priceless.

I missed the first 15 minutes but both teams were pretty average from what I saw. Brentford players got really worked up about nothing a couple of times, which I thought was odd. Firstly the Andersen challenge on Wissa in which he barely touched him and was clearly going for the ball, and then when Jensen fouled Olise on the by-line and for some reason got really upset. On the plus side Lokonga was constantly looking for the ball and played a few good passes, which I thought meant we had less pressure in the middle of the park. At least with Eze, McArthur and Edouard we have some options from the bench, all of which surely have to be a better option than Schlupp! Let's hope we turn up for the second half.

Think Toney had a bet on himself to concede a free kick in the 46th minute
