Undoubtedly the best team in the world. Just hope they torch Chelsea on Sunurday. Haaland is due another hatrick. Slowly but surely Middle East are taking over. If ManUtd want a similar life, they should be selling to the Arabs not Ratcliffe. Unlike Boehly they are smart enough to know to bring in quality and let them perform. Look at Newcastle. Hope they slam Chelsea in their last game. That just leaves Manure to despatch Chelsea which should give us 11th place.

How many teams can bring on the likes of Foden Alvarez etc with ten minutes to go. That last goal was sublime. Very similar to the Olise Eze goal at Leeds. Real looked like third tier most of the game. Well and truly slammed. Just shows that oil money talks. Especially if combined with Guardiola.

One thing I do not understand why do teams not try and match the Man City formation they play 3-2-4-1 at the moment mostly. Inter play a 3 at the back so they could match up something similar to City in the UCL final. But UTD will probably play their usual formation 4-2-3-1 which probably won't work against City. Matching up their same formation won't guarantee UTD will win but it gives them more of a chance in the cup final. Edited by Zaha127 (18 May 2023 8.21am)

Really Willo, wrong once again. TBF Willo has indeed got a number of pre-match predictions correct this season, including correct scores. If you trawled through all the prediction threads for the season, I expect you would find Willo safely 'in the pack'. Specularly wrong last night notwithstanding.

Stones' is one of a handful of centre halves in the world who could play that role. As much as Guardiola is a genius and come up with some really innovative tactics, it's nearly always dependent on having the depth and quality of player that 99% of clubs don't have. Can you imagine trying to ask Wardy to invert as a midfielder in possession? An amazing team, but to me they're the face of a sport losing some of it's magic.

I accept I was "Spectacularly wrong" apropos the Man C game but I am delighted that they have reached the final. Alas my prognostication leaves a great deal to be desired and I believe my record over the season certainly does not place me on any pantheon ! I can be filed in a cabinet marked 'Lustreless dud' !! Speaking of, I still have an E/W slip from the Grand National yet to be cashed in! I feel a lunchtime 'Wimpy' on the cards soon
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Would love Inter to stuff them, but City will probably win 5-0.

I would actually love city to win the treble. It would finally shut up all the united fans going on about their treble. I dont know any man city fans. only ever met one in a cafe after the game we drew 0-0 with luka missing a last min penalty and he was nice. But yeah its indifferent to me Man city winning. It beats listening to the man u and liverpool and chelsea fans giving it large all the time.
