We're going to have to tough it out and have a good run sometime - I have predicted 0-1 to us.

The alarm bells will be ringing after completing 3 successive defeats against the promoted trio. All part of skinflint Parish’s master plan.

Have followed Palace for almost 50 years & going back to the days of Ray Bloye & Uncle Ron this club always tries to compete at the top level on the cheap & it cannot be done for much longer.

Do you think that might have something to do with the size of Palace, in terms of revenue, gate capacity etc - vis a vis the elite of the PL with their super rich foreign owners? Remember the two administrations - both a result of living way beyond the means of a club the size of CPFC.

Well, if Bournemouth don't score we will get a point! I fancy us beeing the first PL team to go three games without a shot om target, so we will have to rely on the defence for points. If the misery continues throughout January, which I find highly likely, Hughes and other quality players should play and turn things around, but that will surely require a new manager, as Vieira clearly prefers the usual crap.

1-1 for me , we were a little unfortunate on Monday with decisions but even before the first goal we looked a little hungover. I can't see us going that way again. We have been going backwards since Wilf went central and I would put him on the right again even just for a couple of games.
Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course). |

It really depends on who PV puts out on the pitch. He will have to drop Eze or Olise and bring Hughes in to bolster the middle. Edouard up front and Wilf left wing, and we should get at least a point!

I have always said, nothing wrong in being a yoyo club, you have the enjoyment of going up to the prem, you get there, when you do, you prepare for the following year back in the champ, ie you expect to get relegated, but with a better team than what you currently have. You start the season favourites to go down, but you stick to your philosophy and you give it a damn good go, the investment from being in the prem goes back into the club. Let's say by a miracle you stay up, you hold that line, stick to your philosophy and you don't break the bank. with luck, planning, you are able to cement yourself as a lower half prem club - I feel we were that, until we bought in players like Cabaye, Sakho, Benteke, with crazy wages then a few stupid loan signings.. In my mind, I want us using local talent from the youth set up, I want us using good players wanting to showcase and step up, anyways, it is what it is.

The Cherries will see this game as 3 points for the taking. Understandably so, Against a side who can't seem to pass, get very few shots on target and lack a midfield, who can blame them? My pessimistic side has won through here and I can't see anything other than a bad defeat. Unless Palace do a Palace of course. Otherwise, with the schedule they have, the alarm bells will be ringing loud.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |

The only club that I can think of that has made the YOYO existence work is Norwich - IDK maybe some of that is because their owners are down to earth, realistic, they are not in the mega rich category & cut their cloth according to their means - Originally posted by Vaibow
