Suppose Forest win tonight,as others have said,we drop into bottom three, regardless of how well we are playing, but don't panic ??

If we drop into the bottom three with seven games left then you panic, not after seven games.

An eventful 10 mins has made this look unlikely

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

We sit outside the bottom 3 on goal difference. We cannot hold a lead or it seems park the bus.

We are in my opinion a weaker side than last season.

I demand the right to both moan and panic!

I fully support this right and hold it myself!

It makes me appreciate all the sensible and level headed members on here just that bit more... even if I don't understand them

Liverpool, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle were 5 of the 7 games, 2 points from them isn't bad, partially as we were robbed at Man C by going 3 up at half time, and the Scandalous decisions against Chelsea, be confident, 9 games now where if we get 18 points, 23 after 16, probably about 8th or 9th, COYP

Just thought I'd point out, for any others in the mire of gloom as I am, were Palace vs. Leeds the only game at the weekend, and we were to win, we'd be in 12th having played the same amount of games as everybody else with half of those against title contenders and quite possibly the top 4 this season (CHE/ARS/LIV/MCY).

The season so far feels like a war of attrition - tough fixtures, dodgy Refs & VAR, a four week gap. The team aren’t playing badly. The default of most Palace fans is if things ain’t going well then they must be going badly. Just need a win to get some positivity going. COYP.

Look at the position after the next 5 games. We desperately need a play maker in midfield, and playing Eze, Wilf , Olise and Ayew together doesn’t work. We have some great players but are being let down by a few who cannot cut it in this league anymore.

My biggest worry at the minute is how stretched the defence is. The upcoming fixtures are favourable but a scraped together team isn't going to win them. In the space of a week we've lost Richards, Andersen, Clyne and had Guehi hobbling about for 30 minutes. Add to that Ferguson is obviously still crocked.

In the (albeit unlikely) situation that none of that group play against Leeds, our defence will look something like:

Rodney Ward Tomkins Mitchell

Next up to fill in are probably Luka, Adaramola and Riedewald? Murmurs coming out now that McArthur is nowhere near return too. Guaita isn't filling me with confidence this year and we've lost that ability to grind out the clean sheets we got last year.

Not sure how we've ended up with the best 3rd choice keeper in the country (maybe in the world?) with such questionable depth elsewhere.

I can’t actually believe anyone is stressing just because we’re 4th of bottom after 7 games. Have some of you forgotten the season we lost our first 7 games getting stuffed 4 and 5-0 by the Manchester clubs on the way? Or how about the season we had 1 win and 8 defeats early on? We looked so badly out of our depth back then, but now we’ve got a far better team who’ve had a tough Start.

As a palace fan of many decades now, I’m all to aware of how easily things can go tits up, but come on, the wheels haven’t fallen off just yet

...but we'd still be only 3 points from the Relegation zone
