There will genuinely be parties commemorating this. That's how far this has gone.

LOL. Seen that being touted around. It is the ultimate Soc.lib fantasy. Oh, well. What can you do? The beautiful thing about it is that it is out in the open. The author allowed to explain how it's a novel about optimism.

Hopefully see more a lot more publicity about this. Ideally a film . Maybe even a TV show.

Straight onto uinversity courses and not long before part of the school curriculum, this completely untalented and biased author is onto a winner. The pakistani Mein Kampf in a novel.

It's that simple.

I don't care if people believe in the teaching of the Koran or how they interpret it. That is there problem.
It becomes our problem when they threaten our freedoms and those we care about.

At that point, we need to act to protect our society.

I agree unless you tar the whole Muslim community rather than just the barking religious loons.

Persecuting innocent people makes no sense. However it might be more difficult than you think to detirmine the innocent from the enablers and silent supporters of what we would see as radicalism.

We all know where the roots of religious fanaticism are.

You would think that Rushdie would stop being a muslim after this, but I forgot, they have the death penalty for apostates don't they.

Sinead O'connor has a long history of trying ( and discarding) husbands, fashion-looks, and religions.

I hope she thought long and hard before publicly becoming a Muslim. Cos there ain't no going back.

Unless he has reverted my understand is that he was brought up in the religion but then as an adult he no longer practices. Of course this was about 20 years ago so he may have returned to the fold.

Well, he does have a beard, isn't there some sort of penalty for being clean shaven?

Try being clean shaven in Afghanistan and you'll soon regret it. Sore bottom.
