There is not a cat in hells chance we will get relegated. have some faith, we have some very good players and a good manager.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

These chaps were discussing our game against Arsenal and not one derided our club or were critical in any shape or form. Had they gallivanted down this path, I would certainly have interjected, tonsils leaving their moorings, coils of smoke rising from my head. They seemed very pleasant human beings. Edited by Willo (08 Aug 2022 10.34am) It really is quite impressive how many people you randomly eavesdrop on who seem to be discussing our club or players linked with out club or just topics on this site in general.

Edited by Willo (08 Aug 2022 10.34am) It's such a breath of fresh air when you get someone sensible posting on the subject of the Brighton rivalry. I live in mid-Sussex and have half a dozen mates who support them and we have a laugh at each other's expense down the pub. That is all...I don't hate them and they don't hate me. Also, I saw someone post on here that Mullery threw a fistful of coins in the faces of Palace fans... errr no he didn't. One of our lot bunged coffee over him and he threw the coins on the ground saying that was all we were worth... I know I was there.

I was also there at those games in that era at the Goldstone. Running battles across Hove Park opposite. Ironic then than 20 years later, I would not only be living around the corner from that park, but also coaching football there...... for BHA's Football in the Community scheme !

We were wondering after the first game last season. Hopefully, we can pick up some points from the tough matches, like we did last season. A draw against Liverpool would be good, a win and we'll all be over the moon.
