Yeh I noticed that which made me think (if this continues) we can share the QR code (like last year). I assume the turnstiles haven't changed so we could still use the QR code? I may test it out for Villa?

I bought a ticket for the Arsenal game from someone on this site and he sent me a screen shot of the QR code. I was very worried it wouldn't work the turnstile but it actually worked fine and I got in without any problems. I'm not sure if he had an iphone or an android phone but whichever he had, it worked!

Anyone had anymore luck from arsenal game with just using the barcode?. Have sent numerous emails to box office for an eticket and calls for the last 2/3 hours and no answer. Our customer service is woeful.

Anybodt else had any luck with this ? I've sent my ticket to a friend who is on my list. All seemed to work my end but there's no way of activating the ticket. No email received and from the Box Office and all my emails are ignored.

Hi there My understanding is that you won't get an e-mail but you should be able to see the ticket your friend has forwarded to you using the App and move it into your Google (or Apple) wallet using the App and use it as an NFC ticket (in the same way that NFC season tickets should work). A friend of mine tried to transfer a ticket for the Aston Villa game to me on Monday but the "Forward" button wouldn't work on either the App or the website so he phoned the Box Office and got through after about 15 minutes and they admitted they were having problems with the forward button so they sent me an e-ticket. They said it would normally cost £10 for an e-ticket (he's a season ticket holder and I'm a Gold Member) but because the system wasn't working, they would waive the charge. Basically, the system to transfer tickets is a total shambles but the Box Office haven't got the staff to issue e-tickets manually. Has your friend got a QR code and can he screen shot it? If the answer to both those questions is "Yes", that might be the way to go!
