Great result and nice to see a ref who wasn’t on the Liverpool payroll!

Well chuffed to see Liverpool lose but what a performance from Courtois. A goal-keeping master class and dominating in a way that I cannot ever recollect seeing before. Stunning.

Funniest moment of the night was the commentator saying “The Stade de France erupts with white delight!” Sadly those days are long gone for me. 😂

It"s a yes from me-if only to put our west london neighbours further behind in the champions league won table- anyone who didn"t win the old European cup or didn"t actually win the league the year before they win the champions league doesn"t really deserve the cup anyway- So Celtic, Liverpool, United, Forest and Villa are realy the only deserving teams in britain to have European cup winners in their honours, our west london neighbours obviously have bought any honours and didn"t qualify for the European cup by the old rules the 2 years they won it! But getting promoted by finishing 6th is different in what way then ?

newspapers full of photos of crying scousers. Some couldn't make the game because of travel delays, some denied entry to the stadium because they had counterfeit tickets. Then surely robbed of a deserved treble by circumstances on the pitch.

Interesting to read the different views in the media on the trouble outside the ground. Even the BBC is suggesting ticketless or rather fans with fake tickets were the cause of the delay and the trouble. Meanwhile at least one newspaper is suggesting these fans were victims having been scammed into buying what they thought was a genuine ticket. I find that doubtful a handful yes, thousands more like some bloke in a pub selling counterfeit tickets for a £5 to get you pass security. Still the Liverpool love in with the media will protect them. As for the game, Liverpool had the better chances but the Real keeper was unbeatable.

Could be an urban myth but… I suspect that most of these fans bought tickets knowing they were fake however if I am wrong and they genuinely bought them believing they were real and paid proper money then these websites should be shut down.

Sorry still haven’t forgot how they lost us our European adventure through the behaviour of their scummy fans. Great result just shame they didn’t get beaten on penalties. Supporters causing mayhem yet again…..it’s always them….and always somebody else’s fault…they are a disgrace
